However, these have never caused an issue with loading. They don't exist on the workshop anymore when I try to find them using LSM and even though the assets they are linked to are unsubscribed, they still show up in LSM as broken / missing. I realize there are missing assets - they have been there for quite some time. To re-iterate, the game does not freeze at this point - just wont move past it. I'm not sure how a map would cause a loop on building manager though.
I would suspect a building is causing this but I'm able to load into another map - could it be the map I've been using? It's OWL'S LOS DEMONIOS. I'm not sure how to read the output log in order to figure out what's causing that particular save to get stuck at this loading spot. I unsubscribed to the assets I subscribed to prior to my last play - though I believe I had not placed them yet. I verified the integrity of the game files. I started the game with -noworkshop and -disablemods (both together and individually) into a vanilla map and the game loaded fine. I attempted to load a new city into a vanilla map (arid plains) and the game got past "building manager" but freezes with the loading bar right at the edge and "simulation: simulationmanager.lateupdatedata" but will eventually load in but if I click the mouse - windows says it's not responding and needs to close. However, today when attempting to load my city, the load was stuck on "simulation: building manager" for well over 15 minutes - does not freeze however. The game started and ran fine with a load time between 2-3 minutes.
I last played my city July 5th, FYI after downloading some more assets. Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
